Education

·        Support K – 12 school children:

o   Kannapolis Schools

o   Rowan-Salisbury Schools

·         Support the FOUR Higher Education facilities in our community:

o   Catawba College

o   Hood Theological Seminary

o   Livingstone College

o   Rowan Cabarrus Community College

Transportation

·         Rowan County Airport – extend runway to 6,000 ft.

·         Highways & Roads:

o   I-85 – complete widening between Hwy 152 & Hwy 73

o   I-85 & NC 152 – complete interchange

o   I-85 & Old Beatty’s Ford Rd. – construct needed interchange

o   Bendix Dr. & Newsome Rd. -- Fix ingress and egress (movie theatre)

o   Julian Road – four lanes from Jake Alexander to Old Concord Rd.

o   Jake Alexander Blvd. – complete loop 

o   Kimball Road – extend to US 29

o   Brenner Ave. – extend to NC 150

·         North Carolina Transportation Museum  

Economic Development

·         Industrial Park – Spec Building

·         Salisbury’s Lee St. – 400 block – NCDOT funds

·         Film Industry

·         Entrepreneurial Development

·         Retail Recruitment
